Coaching

I offer coaching to people who are navigating transition, increased responsibility or uncertainty, and want space to think well about how they show up and what comes next.

Many of the people I work with care deeply about contributing to positive change in the world. Often they arrive with a sense that something in their own work or life wants to shift, but need space to explore what that might mean and how to move forward with integrity.

Coaching offers a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what matters, while still supporting movement and action.

How I work

My coaching style is thoughtful, organised and relational, with room for joy and play.

I ask careful questions, listen closely, and help people notice patterns in how they think, decide and act. Sessions often combine reflection with light structure and simple activities, so insights can translate into next steps that feel meaningful rather than forced.

People often describe me as encouraging and grounded. I am comfortable holding seriousness and uncertainty, and I also bring humour and warmth when it helps people relax, open up and think more freely.

I often start with a small package of sessions, particularly during periods of transition or change. Sometimes this grows into a longer relationship, but the intention is always to support your development rather than create dependence. The work is about strengthening your own clarity, confidence and capacity to navigate what comes next.

Where useful, I share short follow-up notes or reflections to support ongoing sensemaking between sessions.

Who coaching tends to be useful for

People come to me for coaching when they want support to:

  • Navigate a period of transition or change
  • Step into new roles, responsibility or power with confidence
  • Balance agency, contribution and equity
  • Think systemically about change and their role within it
  • Make a career move, go freelance, or launch an initiative
  • Slow down, rethink, or step back in a healthy way
  • Recognise their strengths and build self-belief
  • Find more joy and authenticity in their work

This work is less about fixing problems and more about developing clarity, confidence and self-trust.

What people say

“I went into the sessions feeling overwhelmed about my career options and lacking confidence. Jamie was fantastic in helping me recognise my strengths. The sessions were well organised, and the follow-up notes and resources have become a toolkit I use daily.”
Lula, coaching client

“Just a few sessions in, I leave each session feeling energised and positive about the steps I can take. Jamie is thoughtful and considered, always offering the right question. I really value the relationship we’ve built in a short space of time.”
Jon, coaching client

“As a coach, his questions have a highly motivating effect. He is open and authentic in his communication, which creates an ideal environment for growth.”
Alara, colleague

Working together

If you are in a period of transition or stepping into more responsibility and would value a thoughtful, supportive space to reflect and decide what comes next, I offer a free 60-minute session to explore whether it feels right to work together.

There is no obligation. The aim is simply to see whether the focus, approach and chemistry feel like a good fit.
